1. Acceptance of terms
These Terms of Service apply to your use of Glid, an iOS mobile social gaming app operated by Glid Play.
By accessing or using Glid, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Eligibility and age
You must be at least 13 years old to use Glid, unless local law requires a higher minimum age. If a higher age applies in your country or region, you must meet that higher age requirement.
If you are under the age of majority in your country or region, you may use Glid only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian where required by law.
3. Guest and registered accounts
You can use Glid as a guest through Firebase Anonymous Authentication. Guest accounts allow you to play games and save certain app activity without creating a registered account.
Registered users can sign in with Apple through Firebase Authentication. Registered users may be able to keep their account more reliably across devices or app reinstallations, depending on Apple, Firebase, and app functionality.
You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account or guest profile, except where responsibility cannot legally be assigned to you.
4. Sign in with Apple
Glid supports Sign in with Apple through Firebase Authentication. Apple may provide an email address or private relay email depending on your Apple settings and choices.
Glid does not request passwords from users. Authentication is handled by Apple and Firebase where applicable.
5. Usernames and account responsibility
Registered users can choose a username. Usernames and avatars may be visible to other users, including on profiles, leaderboards, gameplay surfaces, and social features.
You must not choose or use a username that is unlawful, misleading, abusive, impersonates another person or organization, infringes rights, or is otherwise inappropriate for the app.
Glid may change, hide, or remove usernames or profile elements that violate these Terms or create legal, security, or user safety concerns.
6. Games and remote content
Glid loads HTML5 mini-games remotely from a separately operated VPS inside an iOS WKWebView. Games may be updated, added, removed, unavailable, or changed over time.
The app does not currently allow users to publish their own games. The Game Builder is marked as “Coming Soon” and is not currently available as a user publishing feature.
Remote games and related content must be used only through the intended app experience. You must not scrape, copy, interfere with, reverse engineer, overload, or misuse the game delivery systems except where such restrictions are not permitted by applicable law.
7. Scores and leaderboards
Glid may store and display highscores, leaderboard entries, rankings, play counts, share counts, score submission events, and related gameplay data.
Scores from HTML5 games are currently client-submitted. Because client-submitted scores may be affected by technical issues, manipulation, or abuse, Glid may review, adjust, hide, reset, or remove scores and leaderboard entries where reasonably necessary to protect fair play, app integrity, or users.
Leaderboard information may be public within the app and may include your username, avatar, score, rank, game identifier, and related gameplay information.
8. Fair play and prohibited manipulation
You must play fairly and must not manipulate scores, leaderboards, gameplay events, app requests, game load events, share counts, likes, follows, or other app activity.
Prohibited behavior includes using bots, scripts, modified clients, unauthorized automation, traffic manipulation, replay attacks, tampering with game code, submitting false scores, exploiting bugs, or interfering with Firebase, VPS, or app systems.
If Glid detects or reasonably suspects manipulation, Glid may remove affected data, restrict features, suspend access, or take other appropriate action.
10. Acceptable use
When using Glid, you must not:
- Break applicable laws or regulations
- Violate the rights of others
- Harass, threaten, abuse, impersonate, or mislead others
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, servers, or data
- Interfere with app security, availability, scoring, leaderboards, or game delivery
- Use automated systems to access or manipulate Glid without permission
- Upload, transmit, or attempt to introduce malware or harmful code
- Use Glid in a way that could damage, disable, overload, or impair the app or related infrastructure
11. Intellectual property
Glid, including its name, branding, design, app experience, software, features, and related content, is owned by Glid Play or its licensors, except for third-party materials and services.
You receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable permission to use Glid for its intended purpose, subject to these Terms and applicable law.
You must not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from Glid except where permitted by law or expressly authorized.
12. Third-party services
Glid uses third-party services, including Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Apple services, and VPS hosting providers.
Your use of Glid may also be subject to Apple App Store rules, Apple platform terms, Firebase terms, and other third-party terms. Apple and Google/Firebase provide services used by Glid, but they do not endorse Glid.
More information is available from Firebase Privacy and Security and Apple Privacy.
13. Availability and app changes
Glid may change, update, suspend, remove, or discontinue features, games, leaderboards, social features, or other app functions at any time, subject to applicable law.
Glid may be unavailable from time to time due to maintenance, updates, technical issues, service provider outages, VPS issues, Firebase issues, Apple platform issues, or other causes.
14. Account suspension and termination
Glid may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the app or certain features if you violate these Terms, create security or legal risk, manipulate scores, abuse other users, or misuse app systems.
Where required by applicable law, Glid will consider the circumstances of the issue and any mandatory consumer rights before taking action.
15. Account deletion
You can delete or reset account data inside the app:
- Guest users: Profile → Settings → Delete Guest Data
- Registered users: Profile → Settings → Delete Account
Deletion may remove or anonymize account data, profile information, gameplay data, scores, likes, saved games, follows, and related app activity. Some backups, security records, logs, or legally required records may remain temporarily or for as long as required or permitted by law.
If deletion cannot be completed in the app, contact tobiaskrenn06@gmail.com.
16. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Glid is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Glid does not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, compatible with every device, or that scores, leaderboards, remote games, or social features will always be available or accurate.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, guarantees, or rights that cannot be excluded under Austrian, EU, or other applicable consumer protection law.
17. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Glid Play is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or similar damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from or related to your use of Glid.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability where such limitation or exclusion is not permitted by law, including liability for intent, gross negligence, personal injury, mandatory product liability, or mandatory consumer rights.
18. Indemnity where legally permitted
Where legally permitted, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Glid Play from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your misuse of Glid, violation of these Terms, manipulation of scores or systems, or violation of third-party rights.
This section applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law and does not remove mandatory consumer protections.
19. Governing law and consumer rights
These Terms are governed by the laws of Austria, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights that may apply in your country or region of residence.
If you are a consumer in the European Union or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer rights, nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be waived or restricted.
20. Changes to terms
Glid may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows when the Terms were last updated.
If changes are material, Glid may provide notice through the app or another appropriate method where required by law. Continued use of Glid after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms, except where a different legal process is required.

Glid does not currently include a chat or comment system. You must not use usernames, profile details, or social features to harass, impersonate, mislead, spam, or abuse other users.
