Welcome to Fridgey. By downloading, installing, or using the Fridgey app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Fridgey is an AI-powered cooking assistant that analyzes photos of your fridge or ingredients to suggest recipes. The app provides recipe suggestions, a chat-based AI chef, step-by-step cooking mode, freshness tracking, and a cooking journal. Fridgey uses artificial intelligence and the suggestions provided are for informational purposes only.
To use Fridgey, you must create an account using your email address, Google Sign-In, or Apple Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information and be at least 13 years old to create an account.
Free Plan: Includes 2 fridge scans per week, 10 chat messages per day, up to 5 saved recipes, and 2 cooking mode sessions per week.
Chef Pro (Premium): Offers unlimited scans, unlimited chat, unlimited recipe storage, freshness tracker with notifications, full cooking mode access, cooking streaks, and photo journal. Chef Pro is available as a weekly, monthly, yearly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase.
Fridgey uses artificial intelligence (OpenAI) to analyze ingredients and generate recipe suggestions. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors. Fridgey does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or safety of any recipe suggestion.
Important: Always use your own judgment when cooking. If you have severe allergies or medical dietary restrictions, consult a healthcare professional. Fridgey is not a substitute for professional medical or nutritional advice. We are not responsible for any adverse reactions, injuries, or damages resulting from following AI-generated recipes.
You retain ownership of any photos, notes, and content you create within the app. By using the app, you grant Fridgey a limited license to process your photos and data solely for the purpose of providing the service (ingredient recognition, recipe suggestions). We do not use your content for advertising or sell it to third parties.

The Fridgey app, including its design, code, AI models integration, mascot character, and branding, is the intellectual property of Fridgey and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the app without written permission.
Fridgey is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to food-related incidents, data loss, or service interruptions.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app's profile settings. Upon deletion, your data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Austria. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Austria.
